Reflection: The most helpful feedback I got was that I should try to act a little more confident while I speak, in terms of gestures and pacing and such. I fully absorbed that feedback, reflected on it, and for the life of me could not show that I understood it in my videos. I need to take a public speaking class.
Also, I realize that the video is just a little long. I figured 18 seconds isn't that terrible.
Let me know what yall think, whether the story at the beginning is good for a pitch, or whether I sound like Dwight from The Office.

You seemed much more prepared and confident in your pitch, which delivered perfectly and smoothly to the audience. Great job on improving your speech!

ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed your entire pitch, especially starting with a story! It really drew me in and made me a lot more interested in an RPG game than I normally would be. I believe you explained the concept of your product well and opened up a lot of room for discussion for the product with whoever you would be pitching it to.

I could really see the effort in trying to include the hand gestures and better pacing. Like most skills, public speaking comes from experience and the more you do it the better you will get!

ReplyDeleteThat beginning story was kickass. I was immediately wrapped in and really want to see where it goes from there. It was really creative and was a super smart way of drawing in the audience in an elevator speech. I thought that this time you sound way more confident, and I think your delivery was great. Overall, amazing job!
